The amazing Doc Severinsen needs no introduction, of course, but we thought you’d enjoy some comments from a friend of SOSMN who, as a member of the MN Chorale, has performed with Doc in the past and has been rehearsing for this Friday night’s and Sunday afternoon’s concerts with Doc and the MN Orchestra.
Our friend writes “Doc is hilarious when we get in to rehearsals with him. We love his flashy outfits and he always interacts with the audience. He also spends a couple of hours before the orchestra rehearsals & concerts "warming up" on his trumpet. No wonder he sounds so good! Just so amazing for being 87 years old! Vanessa Thomas & Joseph Wolverton are returning as guest soloists. We've performed with them before - what talent!”
