CUBA! Sunday afternoon! The cultural exchange continues as Coro Entrevoces travels to Minneapolis and performs a concert of Latin American & Cuban-inspired music with our MN Orchestra on Sunday, July 5.

You heard this vocal ensemble in the Orchestra’s May 15 broadcast from Havana.  Now hear them in person as they perform music from Cuba, Europe and the U.S., sung a cappella and with the Orchestra.  Hear Gershwin, Caturla, Lecuona, López-Gavilán, Marquez, Bernstein, and more.

BONUS! Listen to members of the Orchestra share their stories about the Cuba trip AND see a new video documenting the Orchestra’s performances and their work with students.

More info and tickets ($25-$55) here:  http://www.minnesotaorchestra.org/buy/tickets/browse-calendar/eventdetail/562/-/celebrate-cuba#.VZFNOvlViko

Let’s give our new Cuban friends a big warm Minnesota welcome!  We hope to see you there.  Wear bright colors!
